Spring COVID-19 boosters will be delivered via community pharmacies and NOT within practice for eligible patients registered with Severn Valley Medical Practice.

Pharmacies will have a range of appointment options, including online booking, walk‑ins (where available), and extended opening hours.

How to book

  • Visit the NHS National Booking Service

  • Or contact a participating local pharmacy directly

  • If you need help booking, you can call 119 for support

Eligibility

The NHS determines eligibility for Spring boosters each year. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please check the NHS website or call 119 for guidance.

Housebound patients will receive their Spring COVID‑19 booster from Crest Pharmacy Worcester.

Crest Pharmacy will be managing all home‑visit vaccinations for housebound patients this season. This means the practice will not be delivering these vaccinations directly.

What you need to know

  • Crest Pharmacy Worcester will contact you directly to arrange your vaccination appointment.

  • They will provide one home visit only, so please ensure you are available when they get in touch.

  • The practice does not have access to Crest Pharmacy’s scheduling system, so we are unable to provide timings or appointment dates.

  • If you have concerns about accessibility or your ability to attend the appointment when offered, please discuss this with Crest Pharmacy when they contact you.

Why the change?

Providing the vaccination programme requires significant staffing, resources, and operational support, and at this time we must prioritise our core clinical services to ensure safe and timely care for all patients.

Community pharmacies are well‑placed to deliver the booster programme and have been doing so for a number of years , offering:

  • More appointment availability

  • Extended hours and weekend access

  • Faster rollout across local areas

Need support?

If you have questions about your eligibility or need help accessing a pharmacy, please contact our reception team. While we cannot administer the booster, we are here to support you in getting the care you need.
