Blood Pressure Calculator
Calculate your average blood pressure and heart rate readings.
Keeping track of your blood pressure and heart rate is an important part of managing your overall health. You enter multiple readings and the calculator will provide an average, giving you a clearer picture of your heart’s condition over time.
By seeing your average numbers, you can spot trends or changes that might need attention before your next doctor’s visit. This can help you and your healthcare provider make better decisions about your care.
Using this tool regularly makes it easier to monitor your health at home, especially if you have conditions like high blood pressure or heart disease. It also helps you share accurate information with your medical team, improving communication and support.
How to use the calculator:
Take your blood pressure both in the morning and afternoon using your BP monitor and collect the results throughout a period of time of 7 days.
2. Enter each reading (systolic (top number) and diastolic (bottom number)) into the calculator.
3. Add both Morning and Afternoon readings for 7 days to get an accurate average.
4. Click “Calculate the average” to see your average blood pressure.
5. Print these off and bring them into the surgery with your name and date of birth on the print off.
5. Use these averages to monitor your health over time and/or share them with your doctor.
